Description

This position is responsible for the development, implementation and refinement of embedded control system software that is in support of our strategic business and technical initiatives.  In addition, you will provide support for current designs, and testing of embedded control systems that are used in the semiconductor industry.  In that role, you will be responsible for leading the development and application of new technologies to support new product development for vacuum systems. This position requires a strong technical background with leadership capabilities, and a desire to excel in a dynamic and challenging environment.




Requirements

·         A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical or Software Engineering is required (Master’s preferred).

·         Minimum of 10 years as a design engineer and project engineer in the area of real time embedded control systems software.

·         A knowledge of routing protocols, embedded real-time applications,

distributed and fault tolerant algorithms.

·    Must be proficient in Object Oriented Design, software coding C, C++, UML, and RTOS integration.

·    Experience implementing communications protocols in an embedded environment.

·         Experience with source code configuration management tools (Visual Source Safe preferred).

·    Familiarity with cross development of embedded software for real-time applications.

·    Familiarity with the principles of real-time multi-thread embedded software.

·    Excellent communication, project management and leadership skills are essential.
